Welcome to Silk & Hearth Designs. By engaging our interior design services, you're agreeing to these terms. Don't worry, we keep things straightforward so we can focus on what matters: your home.
1. Scope of Service
We provide budget-friendly interior design consultations, space planning, and e-design services. Have you ever wondered how a small New York apartment can feel like a palace? That's our goal. Our services are advisory; while we source decor, the final purchase and assembly are typically handled by you to keep costs low.
2. Payment & Fees
We value your investment. Payments for consultations are due at the time of booking. For larger e-design packages, a 50% deposit starts the magic. We accept all major credit cards. Please note that decor sourcing budgets are separate from our design fees.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, we ask for 48 hours' notice. Since our work involves creative labor from the moment we start, design fees are non-refundable once the initial mood boards are delivered. We're committed to your satisfaction and include up to two rounds of revisions in most packages.
4. Liability Limits
While we only recommend vendors we trust, Silk & Hearth Designs isn't responsible for the manufacturing defects or shipping delays of third-party products. We're designers, not contractors. Any structural changes should be vetted by a licensed professional in New York.
